Autobase Plus from Sikkens, top-of-the-range, economical finishes
The Autobase Plus solvent-based range is suitable for bodywork work on new or repaired surfaces. It is also suitable for decorating vehicles, both private and commercial.
How do I use Autobase Plus?
The Autobase Plus range of basecoats can be diluted in a Mixing ratio of 100:50 with one of the following Autobase Plus Reducers:
- Autobase Plus Reducer Fast : for spot and panel repairs or applications in temperatures below 25°C.
- Autobase Plus Reducer Medium: for spot repairs, panels and large surfaces (components and covers) or application in temperatures between 20-30°C.
- Autobase Plus Reducer Slow: for repairs to large surfaces (bonnets) and complete surfaces or application in temperatures between 25-35°C.
- Autobase Plus Reducer Extra Slow : specially developed for high temperatures above 35°C.
Please note: for plastic parts, it is not necessary to add Elast o Actif. For PU foams, add 10% P25 Hardener to Autobase Plus.
Before applying Autobase Plus to an old Topcoat, it is necessary to degrease the surface and sand it dry with P500 grit or wet with P1000 grit.
